For over 20 years, Selfhelp’s Clearview Older Adult center has been a staple of the Bayside community. Offering a wide variety of life-enhancing programs such as computer classes, social events, health and wellness workshops, exercise classes, as well as nutritious meals for seniors living in the neighborhood. Classes are offered in person and virtually. The social worker is available to assist with entitlements and benefits, community referrals, and more. All are welcome to join! At the same location as the senior center is SHARP (Selfhelp Alzheimer’s Resource Program), a social adult day care program for older adults with Alzheimer’s and dementia. For over 20 years SHARP has been providing high-quality social interaction for adults with dementia and has been an important resource for their caregivers.
