Jemez Valley Senior Center - Senior Center in Jemez Pueblo NM

Mission: To provide services to the Pueblo of Jemez tribal members, 55 years of age and over, residing on the Jemez lands and within the service area. To serve those with the greatest economic and social need(s), which include low-income, frail, and impaired elderly.

The Elder Center provides a place where the elders enjoy recreational activities, social gatherings, congregate meals and many other services that are geared towards decreasing isolation. The Elder Center is centrally located where elders can access multiple services through the Tribal Departments,

Senior Center opened in late 1990’s. Goal was to engage and provide services to Seniors in the Pueblo of Santo Domingo .

The Bernalillo Senior Center is located in the Town of Bernalillo. This center serves the surrounding communities of Algodones and the Northwest corner of Rio Rancho. Activities at the center include Bingo, Day trips, Exercise, Billiards, Project Linus, dancing classes and shopping trips.

The Cuba Senior Center in located in the Northern part of Sandoval County. The Cuba Senior Center serves the Cuba area and the surrounding communities of La Jara, Regina, and Lindrith. Activities include Bingo, Exercise, Billiards, Project Linus and craft activities.

The Placitas Senior Center is located seven miles east of the Town of Bernalillo and at the bottom of the Sandia Mountains. Activities at the Center includes exercise, card making classes, beading classes, slump glass classes, computer classes and Project Linus.
