About District 2 Senior Center

Senior Center first opened its doors on March 11, 2011 and grew by leaps and bounds! The City of San Antonio went on to acquired additional space to expand services and a second Re-Grand Opening was held on October 28,2014. The Senior Center facility has a square footage of approximately 15,886. District 2 Senior Centers is well known for its popular “Line Dancing and Chair Volley Ball Classes” which has been featured on several new stations. District 2 also provides a delicious lunch, as well as various types of fitness, computer, art and drawing classes. District 2 also offers Art& Craft, Quilting and Sewing classes taught by extremely dedicated volunteers. University Healthcare System offers numerous health screenings for our seniors. Our center Motto “There’s always something to do at District 2” perfectly describes our active and busy senior centers. Our dedicated staff will provide you with a tour of the center and get you started with our “Swipe and Go” registration process that is fast, easy and simple!
