About Willie M. Cortez Senior Center
The Willie Cortez senior center, which opened in 2010, sits within Council District 4. This facility offers services and activities that help seniors remain health, engaged, and independent. Services and activities that can be found within the 7,000 square foot facility include a daily lunch time meal, exercise classes, computer instruction, billiards, arts and crafts, and nutrition education. Unique to this center is its community garden and outdoor pavilion. Willie Cortez is a place where members enjoy their friendships, share their food and are passionate about BINGO! “Como en Familia – Like family, caring for each other.”
