Overview

The White Rock Senior Center is a gathering place for adults age 50 and over. It is a place where seniors can learn, socialize, and have fun. There are lots of activities for seniors at the White Rock Senior Center. We have fitness classes, a weight room, dancing, cards and games, table tennis, and computer groups. You can get your blood pressure check, and a massage all in the same place.

We have lived in White Rock less than one year. Recently the WRSC sponsored a COVID booster event and we took a tour of the facilities and learned about the senior meals. We tried some meals and love them! As example, this Monday was salmon with wild rice and brussell sprouts. Good sized piece of salmon. Brussell sprouts, which usually aren't my favorite, were very good and not bitter. Today's meal was Green Chile Cheeseburger. We ate it for dinner, instead of lunch and it was fresh and tasty. The burger was packed with the meat, cheese and chiles in one container and the lettuce, onion, pickle and tomato in another container. Then the bun was wrapped in aluminum foil. We gave the meat a quick heat-up and assembled our dinner. Each meal always include the choice of juice or milk and dessert!! If you haven't tried the meals, you should!
