About Westwind Senior Center
Senior Centers are a great place to meet new people and participate in various recreational activities in addition to congregate meals served daily. Southwest Social Services Programs, Inc. runs five senior centers throughout Miami-Dade County. Congregate meals served daily are designed to provide 1/3 of an elderly person's daily nutritional needs. Nutritionally balanced meals help maintain or improve seniors' nutritional status, which in turn improve health and ability to remain living at home.
