The Senior L.I.F.T. Center, Inc. is a totally volunteer non-profit organization that provides recreational, social and educational activities for seniors 50 and older. Our activities include chi energy, line dancing, tap dancing, painting, drawing, crafts, weight control, pool, chorus, Mah Jongg, canasta, bridge, poker, scrabble, Bunko, Rummikub, current events, "Let's Talk", computer classes, Spanish classes, English classes, Mah Jongg classes and canasta classes. We provide a place to meet new lifelong friends and greet old friends every day. The Center is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Once a month on Sunday we organize a luncheon and throughout the year we offer cultural activities by giving our members an affordable way to attend dinner theatres, local plays, take short-term and long-term trips and cruises and various other local and statewide outings. We also provide luncheon seminars with speakers who address different topics of interest to our seniors. Our 300+ membership consists of people of diverse backgrounds and talents. Our activities are taught and directed by knowledgeable volunteers. Our members have been very generous with their time and expertise when and where needed. We are constantly evolving to meet the needs of our members and strive to provide them with the best and current aids and technology to satisfy their minds and bodies. We have been in operation since 1988, run by over 100 volunteers, board and officers who give of their time and talent.
