Potrero Heights Park Community And Senior Center

I have been attending this center since the beginning of April of this year. Ever since I started coming to this center, I've enjoyed all of their activities and events. There are lots of different activities that seniors can participate in. They can meet new friends and interact with one another. And learning to sew has been one of my greatest joy. Being creative through crafts with a Hello Kitty theme has perked my interest in attending all of the classes. Not long ago we learned to make origami pen holders and now I am using the same idea by adding stationery items such as pens and hand creams as Christmas gifts. This past week, we celebrated our Christmas party with food, drinks, poinsettia plants, and other gifts donated by restaurants and businesses in the community. Hats off and special thanks to Angela, Mirna, April, and all the volunteers who make this center a very loving and wonderful place to be a part of.
