Overview

For nearly 40 years, the City of Las Cruces has been committed to serving the needs of its elder citizens. Today, Senior Programs is recognized for its wide range of quality programs and services for adults age 50 and older. Our staff, volunteers and members work together to provide the largest range of programs for seniors in Las Cruces. We serve more than 1,600 individuals a year, have more than 16,000 members and benefit from the skills of more than 250 volunteers.

Question by cindy Ms robinson: i will be moving to Las Cruces next year. Im 65 and my partner is 77. Im curious as to activities more for her..like bird watching. some walking but not a lot as she uses a cane and other activities outdoors/mornings that i can look into for her with groups our/her age. does your center off those. I'm more interested in pottery and quilting and going along with her as well on outside activities we can do together. If your center is this...great, if not, can you point me to some groups/facebook/centers?
