Our Goddard Riverside and Lincoln Square Senior Centers help older members of the community live life to the fullest. Activities such as painting classes, exercise, choir, "Poets and Writers," games and computer workshops challenge older adults to keep growing and learning. Social events such as birthday and holiday parties strengthen the sense of community. Our hot breakfast and lunch provide vital nutrition support at an affordable price. Membership is free to anyone 60 and older. Our more than 3,000 members come from diverse racial, ethnic and religious backgrounds. They are actively involved in the centers, so that the services and activities reflect their interests. Members also work with staff to reach out to their homebound peers through our Senior Outreach program. Our goal is to enable older adults to maintain their independence, stability, and social connectedness to their communities. We provide practical support to address health issues and almost any other problem that independent older adults are likely to face.
