Question by Janet Gamerl: Hello, My name is Janet and I am the Volunteer Coordinator with Gentiva Hospice. I am reaching out to see if it would be appropriate for me to come to the community center to talk with folks about volunteer opportunities. We are always looking for dependable volunteers for non-clinical patient visits. Volunteers spend time with patients on hospice as companions to help decrease isolation and depression. Often our volunteers find that they too benefit from helping someone in need. Please let me know if this is something I would be able to come and chat with the community there about!
