East Newark Senior Center

Overview

The East Newark Senior Services are provided to East Newark residents that are 60 years of age and older. Application to participate in senior activities must be made through the East Newark Borough Clerk's Office, proper identification must be provided along with proof of address. The East Newark Senior Center is opened daily (except for weekends and holidays) to provide nutrition for those seniors enrolled in the lunch program, exercise programs, transportation, and to provide information and assistance. The Senior Center has computers, cable television, internet, a fitness room and a congregating area is available for those senior residents interested in utilizing the facilities. Transportation must be pre-arranged by contacting the center 24 hours in advance.
