Overview

The Callaway Senior Center recognizes the individual capabilities and needs of each senior citizen. Our Mission is to assist the community in establishing a full range of services, which allow older persons to live in the most independent manner possible. The Callaway Senior Center works with funding sources such as; The United Way, Aging Best (formerly known as Central Missouri Area Agency on Aging), and the general community to raise needed funding to support and provide needed services, meals, and programs for senior citizens of Callaway County. We are volunteers working together with staff from Aging Best to provide the facility and develop adequate support to help enhance the lives of senior citizens while they maintain their ability to live independently. The Callaway Senior Center offers Buffet Lunch Monday-Friday from 11:00am-12:30pm. Seniors 60 and over eat for a suggested $4 contribution. Anyone under 60 eats for $6.50. Frozen meals are available for delivery to senior citizens age 60 and over who are confined to their home. We also have numerous activities such as exercise, card games, dinners, dances, music shows, pool tables, etc.
