About Columbia Senior Activity Center

Senior Services of Boone County (dba Columbia Senior Activity Center) is a not-for-profit corporation organized under the laws of the State of Missouri whose purpose is to provide a safe place for individuals in their mature years to stopover to interact with persons approximately the same age, and share the same interests. Thru many different activities and a healthy meal program, people can stay active mentally as well as physically (ex: yoga, line dancing…). An example of ways that individuals can stay astute is thru continued learning which is provided with seminars and a library. Also there is a gift shop that showcases many different local vendors. Everyone is welcome to participate in these activities since there is no discrimination of race, color, creed, or economic status at the facility. The only areas where there is an age requirement (over 50 years of age) is the poolroom and library.
