This center is housed in the former MAD DADS building located on the west side of Ocala in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Recreation Complex. The park offers athletic fields, baseball, basketball courts, a fitness/walking trail, picnic pavilion, playground, tennis courts and more! This facility is the first center on the west side of Ocala designed exclusively for adult citizens in the area to provide the opportunity to participate in educational programs, become physically active, socialize and receive resources or referrals to various services provided for adults by private or governmental agencies. Programs offered include but are not limited to arts and crafts, bingo, board games, bowling, cards, computer classes, dominoes, fitness class, line dancing, movies, a walking club, trips, social services such as AARP Tax Aide or S.H.I.N.E (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders), health screenings, public speakers who speak on issues facing adults of all ages today.
