About Active Lifestyles Program At Brittingham-Midtown Community Center

The Active Lifestyles Program at Brittingham-Midtown Community Center (BMCC) offers an early morning track-walking program in addition to its later scheduled fitness and yoga classes. Instructional classes are scheduled throughout the week including acrylic, oil, and watercolor painting, line dancing, Golden Steppers tap dancing, and more. Boot Camp for Seniors takes place Monday and Wednesday mornings 8:00 am - 9:00 am. "The Essence of Modeling" classes are offered quarterly.The center also offers AARP Defensive Driving classes, health and safety seminars, cultural enrichment programs, monthly BINGO programs, nutrition seminars, craft shows, fashion shows, and an array of educational opportunities. Clubs include rubber stamping, crochet, scrapbooking, the Busy Beaders, and the Fashion Elegantés Modeling Club. Pickleball in the gym is offered Tuesday and Friday mornings 9:00 am - 12:00 noon. An annual Pickleball Tournament is held in the Spring.
