Our Reflections Neighborhood for memory care offers 19 secure studios devoted to the specialized care of those with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Tucked at the foot of the majestic Rockies, MorningStar at Mountain Shadows is located just north of Garden of the Gods Road. We are close to I-25, and health facilities such as Penrose Hospital as well as retail centers, grocery stores and restaurants. MorningStar at Mountain Shadows was awarded the high honor of “Best Retirement Home” in 2023 as part of the annual “Best Of” competition hosted by the Colorado Springs Gazette. Our suites are available in various floorplans equipped with full, handicapped-accessible bathrooms; emergency call systems; and private heating and air conditioning. Onsite amenities include a bistro, salon, theater, fireside patio, fitness center, and scheduled transportation.
