At Legacy Woods in Hayden, we offer both Assisted Living and Memory Care options within three separate housing communities. Private rooms are available at Legacy Woods plus telephone and cable television, for an additional charge. We encourage residents to bring items from home to personalize their new living space as this usually helps with the transition process. Hayden is a short drive from Birmingham or Cullman, Alabama and is a relaxing, safe, environment for you or your family member. There are several activities located nearby as well as daily activities enjoyed by the residents. We encourage the residents to be active and participate in stimulating activities each day. Three delicious meals are prepared each day along with two snacks. Residents in Assisted Living are provided care in a secure, independent living environment. We provide assistance with basic needs such as bathing, grooming, medication assistance, and more. There is always someone available to help, regardless of the level of assistance needed. Legacy Woods also offers specialized care due to cognitive impairment with our Memory Care community. The attentive and experienced staff is trained in caring for residents with all types of memory care complications. Our goal is to keep your loved one active and engaged while assisting with all of their daily activities. A specialized and custom care plan will be developed to ensure that we fulfill the needs for you or your loved one.
