Don’t let the word “Senior” fool you. They are the most youthful bunch you would ever meet! Every event is a social gathering where you are welcomed with a smile. The Shafter seniors have just about everything to keep their mind working and their spirit joyful. There is not one day when you will find them bored. If they are not dancing, then they are joking and laughing. If they are not doing arts & crafts, then you will definitely find them exercising*. This is a place where new and long time friends meet, hang out, and make the best of every gathering. If you are 55+, or know someone who is, come down into the W.C. Walker Senior Center and make them a visit.
