About Valentine Senior Center

The Valentine Senior Center was established in 1983 with funding from the Northeast Nebraska Area Agency on Aging and local fundraising. It has continued to thrive through participation in the meal program, health clinics offered as well as recreational activities such as playing pool, cards, and puzzles. We offer a free loan program for medical equipment, books, puzzles and books on tape. We have two computers available for use by participants, one of which is wired for internet. The manager is trained to help with questions regarding Medicare, Medicare Part D, and can help participants apply for financial help such as Medicaid through the Department of Health & Human Services.
