The Urban League of Portland provides one of the only African American culturally specific senior service programs in the state, as in addition to serving a diverse range of seniors aged 60 and older. We provide or connect seniors with services that allow them to remain safely in their homes and communities. Our services in N/NE Portland include OPI Services, community resources, and a Multicultural Senior Center, which in addition to many activities, also provides some health care and preventative services including blood pressure checks, t’ai chi, and a visiting foot care clinic each month (the clinic is $30).

Comment: At about 4pm, myself (black american) a disabled senior citizen and an elderly ( black woman)crippled ad bent over using a walker tried to get HAUN ANDERSON an office assisance ignored our request to buzz the bathroom doors to let us in to use the toliet. Finally the security guard shows up and opened it up fo us. I am asking someone to investigate the matter.
