Overview

Our Mission: The mission of the Upshur County Senior Center is to serve the community by enriching the quality of life for older adults through services and activities to help them remain independent and active. We do this through superior client services, planned activities, and more. We are located in Buckhannon, WV and welcome all residents 60 years of age or older, and their spouses (regardless of age), to take advantage of our diverse range of programs and services. The Upshur County Senior Center is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors within the community by providing the opportunity to age actively. We are constantly striving to better serve the seniors of this community and grow with them. The Upshur County Senior Center provides seniors with the opportunity to live life to the fullest while maintaining their independence. Our friendly and inviting atmosphere is the perfect place to gather and enjoy great conversation, food, activities, and more with other members of the Upshur County community. It is also a great way to meet new people and become more involved in the community.
