I am a disabled Veteran over 65 and I was receiving meals on wheels up until 3/1/2022.At that time, without any warning my lunch stopped coming. I am home bound and only get to town once a month accept for doctor appointments. I really depended on them . when I called to see what was the matter the guy who claimed to be in charge said if I wasn’t on Medicare I would have to pay 8.00 per day. I can’t afford it as I am below the poverty line.

I am a 100percent disabled Veteran and have been receiving meals on wheels for afew years.last month without any warning I somehow stopped receiving them.November 3 I was in an accident and almost died. I have some ribs that won’t heal and life is very painful for me. I am not getting Medicaid because the VA takes care of my medical. My prescriptions are paid for by the VA. I am way under the poverty line and I am over 65.I pray you reconsider your decision to discontinue the lunch for me.
