Overview

Silvermont, completed in 1917, is the one of the ambitious private residences ever build in western North Carolina. In 1972, it became a recreation center and neighborhood park in Brevard, NC. In addition to our Lunch Plus program, we offer educational programs concerning financial matters, Medicare, health concerns, exercise classes, volunteer opportunities, non-fiction book club, Toasty Toes-knitting for our troops, and other activities

Most people just call me JT. I was walking through the park with my dog Boo this morning and I thought to myself that the trails needed some cleanup after the snow storm in December. I am a handyman and do a lot of yard work and thought that the organization might have some use of my "talents".
