Leon Millsap Senior Activity Center

Overview

Senior Wellness is important at this center. Come join the tai chi class or attend programs on heart disease, diabetes, blood pressures and cholesterol. This center has a state of the art fitness center, equipped with 8 pieces of commercial exercise equipment, designed to enhance and build fitness. The fitness center is open to seniors each day or evening the center is open. For those not 60 years of age, there is a membership to the fitness room that can be purchased for $25 per month for one person and $40 per month for 2 people. Exercise your mind with activities like Sudoku, crosswords and card games and show off your artistic skills by participating in craft classes. The Leon Millsap Center is unique in that they still quilt the old fashioned way and any day of the week you can see the dedicated ladies stitching away. Also very popular is beanbag baseball.
