The Richmond Senior Center has been providing community services in a home like environment since opening our doors in 1990. We have an established history and commitment to serve seniors and disabled adults with the most social and economic need. Under the leadership of Golden Gate Senior Services and with funding from Department of Disability and Aging Services (DAS) it is our priority to provide safe spaces for seniors and adults with disabilities to come together and share a healthy meal, socialize, exercise, learn, and find the resources they need to live happier and healthier lives. Our community services focus on positive aging and are as diverse as our membership. Some join us weekdays for a nutritious hot lunch in a vibrant communal setting. Others use translation assistance or participate in workshops, classes and day trips.
