About Northfield Senior Center

The Northfield Senior Center is overseen by the Northfield Council on Aging. It is the home base for Senior activities, congregate meals, programs, outreach, information, and referrals. It is located on the ground level of Town Hall and is handicapped accessible from the parking lot in the rear of the building. The Northfield Senior Center is a place for Northfield seniors and those in surrounding communities to come together to enjoy camaraderie and support through social interaction with others. We enjoy many programs on a weekly and monthly basis including; activities, meals, music, day trips, workshops, informational presentations and community events. Most programs are free-or ask only a nominal suggested donation of a few dollars. Everyone is welcome regardless of income. See our calendar of events page for upcoming programs. A congregate meal is served at 11:30 on Tuesday for a suggested donation of $3.00. On Monday, bring your lunch and enjoy the group. On Thursday at 11:30, we have the Senior Cafe, prepared by the staff, also with a suggested donation of $2.50. Call the Center before 11:00 am, one or two days in advance to sign up.
