Merrick Senior Center

NO CALENDAR OF EVENTS DISPLAYED FOR ANY OF THE TOWN OF HEMPSTEAD CENTERS. HOW CAN THE SENIOR KNOW WHAT EACH CENTER IS OFFERING EACH DAY, EACH MONTH. WE MUST VISIT EACH CENTER TO GET THE CALENDAR OF EVENTS OF THE CENTERS NEAREST TO OUR HOMES. IMPOSSIBLE FOR SOME. If WE COULD GET THE CALENDAR OF EVENTS ON THE COMPUTER, WE COULD DECIDE WHAT WE WOULD WANT TO JOIN ON A PARTICULAR DAY. EXAMPLE, ALL LIBRARIES HAVE EVENTKEEPERS SO THAT AN INDIVIDUAL CAN SEE WHAT IS BEING OFFERED.

I agree with Collins! I have often searched for the Calendar of Events at different senior centers online to no avail! Make life easier for seniors and publish the monthly calendars online, PLEASE!

I verify that I submitted the review. I wish you would have told me that you would implement the suggestion, rather than to varify it. It is my guess that nothing will be done, or you would have thanked me and told me that centers will have their calendars on line.

The previous rating was not the rating for the Senior Center in Merrick. It is a rating to show my support for what April Kodila wrote. I suppose I should have given it a 5 because I agree with her. I gave it a 1 because I felt annoyed about the same thing. I give the center a 4. It's very nice. Sadly, we missed the last dance because we did not know about it until it was too late, due to no calendar of events.
