We are a non-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors in concert with membership. The Board contracts the City of Medford Parks, Recreation and Facilities Department to provide Senior Center day to day management and to assist with programming. The Medford Senior Center provides services for those 50 and older in a supportive, stimulating and caring atmosphere. Coordinated services offer educational programs, social service and assistance referrals and volunteer programs as an opportunity to serve others. Non-members may participate in some programs for a nominal fee, referrals and medical check ups are free. Members receive free or reduced rates on activities, special event tickets, exercise classes and they may also check out books and DVD’s from the lending library.
Membership Information
The Center is a non-profit self supported facility. Membership is available for a small annual fee which includes a monthly newsletter outlining free or low cost local trips, programs which may include Yoga, Tai Chi, Senior Boot Camp, Stretching, Line Dancing, tickets to shows and Britt, among other offerings. Members may check out hard back and large print books or dvds from the lending library.
