About Mccormick County Senior Center

Transportation, meals, building rental and banquet facilities, and wellness and fitness services for McCormick and the surrounding communities! Located in the quiet, close-knit town of McCormick, SC ("the entrance to Lake Thurmond"), the Senior Center opened in 1972 on E. Augusta Street. In 1995, it was moved to 1421 South Main Street, where it remains to this day. However, a new chapter has been started in the story of this non-profit organization. As of January 15, 2016, the Talmadge Fitness & Wellness Complex, located at 1319 South Main Street (right next door to the Senior Center), was officially opened to the public, increasing the number and variety of services being provided to McCormick County families.
