Overview
The Max Meltzer Senior Center - added to University Settlement's family of sites in the summer of 2015 - joins the Neighborhood Center and the Houston Street Center's HEART Program as a trifecta of older adults programming in Manhattan that sees more than 2,600 participants a year. Meltzer embodies our LEARN model: Longevity through Education, Art, Recreation and Nutrition. We believe that older adults deserve to live empowered, vibrant lives, far beyond having their basic needs met.
