The Market Street Senior Center operates from 222 Market Street, in Santa Cruz, California. Also known as Senior Citizens Opportunities, we are a 501C3 tax-exempt organization serving Santa Cruz County for over 65 years. Our charter is to provide social and cultural activities, companionship, and theater arts opportunities for the seniors of Santa Cruz County. We are best known for our annual production "The Santa Cruz Follies". Each year, seniors create an original, fully choreographed and costumed two-hour show. The high standards we have for our performers ensure a very professional high-quality show beloved by both locals and visitors. Combining our diverse talent, we celebrate the fun and collaboration of music and dance. We share that love of performing on our stage and invite you to join us. You are never too old to sing and dance! Life is short! Let’s have some fun!
