Details
Officially becoming a non-profit in 1984, OASIS is an acronym for “Orcutt Area Seniors In Service”. OASIS is a local volunteer-driven, membership oriented organization founded by local seniors to serve other seniors in Northern Santa Barbara County. OASIS has become a home away from home for thousands of local seniors throughout our community. 35 years after our founding, the community-based work of OASIS remains the same: serve seniors and improve conditions in our society for our local senior population to continue growing and thriving. Fellowship, service, volunteerism, personal growth and development, along with generous membership discounts is what allows OASIS to stand out as a vital resource for our senior population in Northern Santa Barbara County. Membership in OASIS continues to grow each and every year. We now serve over 5,000 local individuals and families on an ongoing basis. We are proud of the important work we do and the tremendous progress we are making in improving the quality of life of our area’s senior population.
