Comment: | August 10th the other and I walked to the center for their breakfast. In the past the food was decent and those in charged came out to converse. This day the chicken fried steak was very tough, eggs over hard to the request for over easy and the potatoes black as though they sat a long time before cooking and very limp. The other found a hair in her chicken fried steak gravy and ate no more. No one but the cook came to say anything. I have lived in Lucerne for 35 years now and on the North shore for fifty years. The politics at this senior center in all those years is something to behold. I suppose it exist mostly just to give surplus stuff away. Bread lines like the great depression it appears to me. |
