Lubbock's Community and Senior Centers offer clean, attractive facilities where you can take a class, learn how to cook, learn to draw, teach your youngsters gymnastics and dance, or maybe get in shape through an exercise class. Classes, rentals and special events are all offered at low, reasonable prices that appeal to everyone, and many of our special events are free. Indoor Recreation offers activities and special events throughout the year. We publish an activity guide three times a year in January, May, and September. The guides provide information on our classes, programs, camps, and events. In addition, they have information for activities from other City of Lubbock departments including Libraries, Museums, Civic Center and more!

Comment: I am moving from Florida to Lubbock--68 year old male, healthy, active, not poor and not rich, retired university dean and professor with multiple published books--QUESTION: Does the bus within Lubbock offer a reduce senior /old person price for a person such as myself who is is not handicapped, is not poor nor rich, and is senior age at 68+? Thank you in advance for your reply to me at my email address, which I will much appreciate.

Comment: I have been trying unsuccessfully to register for the Tai Chi classes for seniors that begin on Tuesday, April 5th at LAAC. The portal that I must use for registration will not accept my email and password despite numerous attempts. I have even tried changing my password twice and it still does not recognize my email and password. I looked up a phone number for LAAC and tried calling but there is no answer. I am very interested in the classes, but am almost at the point of giving up. I would appreciate if someone could help. Thank you!
