About Litchfield Senior Center

The Litchfield Senior Center is located in the Academy Building next to the Libby Tozier Elementary School. It is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM with special events in between. The Center opened on October 15, 2004 by the Senior Advisory Committee, a group of 8 that was appointed by the Board of Selectmen on July 1, 2004. A Director is appointed by the Selectmen to oversee the running of the Center since the loss of our Director, Carol Bailey, in March, 2010. She will be missed by all. Some of the members of the Committee and several area residents volunteer to help with the Center.
