Overview

The Life Enrichment Senior Center is a joint effort involving Walton County, the City of DeFuniak Springs and Tri-County Community Council. A staff of one paid employee and many volunteers translate the needs of the senior citizens into action. Funding is provided by Walton County as well as the City of DeFuniak Springs and the building is maintained by Walton County. Growing from an idea planted several years ago by an active member of the community, the road to opening the doors of the facility started in January, 2008 and is an ongoing process involving citizens of the community.
