About Joseph H. Edwards Active Adult Center

The mission of SRDA is to provide programs and projects that enhance the quality of life for the senior community of Pueblo and increase opportunities for independent living. Through its inclusive structure, symbolized by SRDA's umbrella logo, the agency ensures that Pueblo area senior citizens and other frail and handicapped persons maintain as healthy, self-reliant, and independent lifestyles as possible. In 1994, thanks to a combination of public and private funding, the Joseph H. Edwards Active Adult Center was built in downtown Pueblo at 230 North Union Avenue. Our impressive facility, located near the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk Project, City Hall, Historic Union Avenue District, and senior apartment complexes, houses the SRDA offices and our many comprehensive programs.
