The Japanese Community Pioneer Center (JCPC) is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide welfare services to seniors. Since its establishment in 1969, the JCPC located in Little Tokyo in Los Angeles has served as a bridge to American society for Japanese speaking people who need support in Japanese. In addition, the JCPC offer social and welfare services, educational classes in healthy living, workshop in traditional arts & culture, as well as computer classes, and seminars on health and retirement information relevant to seniors. The JCPC also plays a role as a gathering place for the community. Its mission is to help the seniors live a full and fulfilling life.
