The Hurst Senior Activities Center opened on November 9, 2009. Our 27,500 square foot state-of-the-art facility offers a wide variety of arts and crafts, educational, leisure and fitness programs. Our facility features a 2,500 square foot fitness room complete with elliptical machines, treadmills and a circuit series. In addition to the fitness room, the café is a great place to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee, pastries, and conversation. The game room is perfect for playing bridge, 42, pinochle, and dominoes, just to name a few. The multipurpose room hosts a large, wood dance floor and seating for over 300 guests. A wide array of programs including Bingo, two dances a month, a variety of instructor lead and DVD exercise classes as well as a monthly “Movies and Munchies” program where you can sit back and enjoy a recently released movie with a wonderful snack! Other amenities include our computer lab, billiards room, arts and crafts studios, and library. You can also stop by on Tuesdays for “A Quick Bite” our weekly meal program.
