The Harlingen Senior Community Center by WellMed is in the heart of the city’s thriving medical community. The Center was founded in 2011 by the WellMed Charitable Foundation, in partnership with the Area Agency on Aging of the Lower Rio Grande Valley. The Harlingen Senior Center’s mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment to support the social, emotional, physical, and health needs of the communities’ elderly aged 60 and above.
