About H.j.c. Bowden Senior Multipurpose Facility
Do you want to learn more about technology and how it can improve your life? Are you looking for life enrichment and a social outlet? Is there a new goal of your to learn line dancing? Have you wanted to participate in aquatics or exercise classes? Then our Multipurpose Program is just for you! Come visit us at one of four interactive and thriving senior facilities which serve a focal point in the community. Each facility provides opportunities for active adults age 55 and older to participate in life enrichment classes, nutrition, education, fitness, leisure and other activities. The facilities have cafeterias, gym, therapeutic pools, computer training centers and art classrooms.

Write a reviewBowden is an excellent facility; however, participating members are not afforded notification of registration dates for quarterly registration unless you are physically in the facility around quarter end. Such notification could possibly be made via email which is obtained by Center staff during orientation/on-line registration or via a voice message to all participating members. It appears, more time and effort is given to registering those who access the Center daily and are not computer savvy. Pre-registration is especially important for those interested in water aerobic/aquatic activities since these classes are “filled by a lottery.” Late notification leads to individuals interested in aquatic classes being less likely to gain registration due to the limited number of class offering. Center could also offer more aquatic classes per day.
