About Gulf County Senior Citizens Association

Gulf County Senior Citizens Association is a private non-profit agency organized to serve the unmet needs of Gulf County residents age 60 and older. The agency was founded in 1977 and is governed by a Board of Directors composed of local residents. A dedicated staff of case managers, coordinators, site managers and direct service workers assist the county's citizens age 60 and over with maintaining their independence, health and quality of life. A hot, nutritious meal delivered to the door; a ride to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription; a new wheelchair ramp to make a sunny afternoon outdoors accessible once more; a little help with daily tasks - all these services go a long way toward independence. Providing seniors with the assistance they need to remain in their own homes as long as possible is what we do. Gulf County Senior Citizens Association offers programs that make a difference in the lives of all older adults - from the frail older person who can remain at home if they receive the right services to those who are healthy and can benefit from the activities, socialization and volunteer opportunities. The Association provides assistance to hundreds of senior citizens annually through its programs and services.
