The Franklin Parish Council on Aging serves persons 60 and older by addressing the needs of the total individual and implementing programs to meet those needs. The organization is a non - profit organization which contracts with the State of Louisiana for funds. Since the funds are limited, the organization must rely on donations and fundraisers to subsidize the programs.
