About Fentress County Senior Center

It is the mission of the Fentress County Senior Center to provide activities and services for the County’s senior adult population (age 60+). These services promote and improve personal independence, self-sufficiency, health, social interactions, and the overall quality of life. The Fentress County Senior Center is a non-profit organization that has been in operation since 1979. Approximately 1,500 senior adults are served monthly as a result of the Older Americans Act funds, state dollars, and local government funding. The Senior Center provides recreational trips as well as educational and historical outings. Senior adults can participate in all services and activities at no cost. The Fentress County Senior Center offers several areas for volunteer opportunities. Additionally, the Senior Center accepts and greatly appreciates all contributions and donations. The Fentress County Senior Center is a 501(c)3, and gifts are tax deductible.
