About Cross Roads Senior Center

The Cross Roads Senior Center opened its doors in July 2013 as the second resource of its kind in the Lower Rio Grande Valley. Founded by the WellMed Charitable Foundation in partnership with the Area Agency on Aging of the Lower Rio Grande Valley, the Cross Roads Senior Center’s mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment to support the social, emotional, physical, and health needs of older adults in and around McAllen, TX. The Center is founded on various components that offer outstanding programming at no cost to anyone age 60 and older, and their family caregivers.
