Branson Hollister Senior Center

Overview

Concern for seniors in our community is evident by the hard work and dedication of our staff, board, and volunteers. In 2018, we served more than 58,000 meals to Taney County senior adults. The center has served seniors as a 501(c)(3) non-profit since 1987. This collaborative effort involves the non-profit BHSC; SeniorAge, the Senior Area Agency on Aging; the City of Branson, including the Branson Community Center; and the Taney County Senior Tax Board. Many of our seniors also volunteer in the program, giving them a sense of purpose and allowing them to give back to their communities. They help in the kitchen, deliver meals to homebound residents, assist with fundraising events, lead classes, work in the garden, and many other jobs that keep the center running smoothly.
