Bowie Senior Center

Overview

The City of Bowie has a dynamic and all-encompassing 29,000 square foot Senior Center that reflects the heart of its members. Adults age 55+ are welcome to participate. This nationally accredited center offers opportunities for social, educational, creative, recreational, and physical programs. Information and referral Services, transportation services, and a congregate lunch program are also available. Friendships are made, new interests are discovered, skills are sharpened, talents are enjoyed, meals are shared, and special occasions are celebrated. To become a member you will need to visit the center with a photo I.D. that has your current address on it and fill out a one page application form. The mission of the Bowie Senior Center is to serve, support, and enhance the lives of individuals 55 years and older by providing programs and services that promote active, independent and healthy lifestyles.

Membership and Fees

The Center is open to all independent individuals 55 years of age and older. There is no membership fee; however, fees are charged for some classes, programs, services, and special events.

Mon - Fri: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Sat: 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
