About Bernice Fonteneau Senior Wellness Center
Mary’s Center cares deeply for our community’s senior citizens. In addition to providing comprehensive services at all of our Mary’s Center locations, we also manage two senior wellness centers, Bernice Fonteneau & Hattie Holmes, that provide our amazing DC-area seniors (60 years and older) a wide variety of free health, wellness, and social services tailored to their needs. The Bernice Fonteneau Senior Wellness Center (Ward 1; 3531 Georgia Avenue NW) and the Hattie Holmes Senior Wellness Center (Ward 4; 324 Kennedy Street NW) both feature a state-of-the-art gym and group exercise studio, a teaching kitchen, a reading room, and a computer lab, among other amenities
