About Berkeley Springs Senior Center

Senior Life Services of Morgan County is a private, not-for-profit, 501 (3) C corporation. We have evolved over the last 30 years in our operations so that we can more effectively respond to demands of our community. There are approximately 6500 people in our county over the age of 65. Fifteen hundred are veterans. Nearly 20 percent live at or below the federal poverty level. Over 260 of our elderly, have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or dementia – further complicating our ability to provide timely, effective support. Our mission is serious and critical to our community. In order to provide the support services necessary to preserve and honor our elderly’s wishes to live at home, we have ongoing needs for volunteers and financial donations. Helping to shape the services we offer through active participation on the Senior Advisory Committee is imperative and we are looking for more members.
